Amir Zahoor has research interests in the areas of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Wireless and Mobile communication. He graduated in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Signal Processing from Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH), Karlskrona, Sweden. During his thesis research period, he conducted research on video/image processing with title visual quality improvement of digital video by stabilization using adaptive CMAC filtering.
He is an active member of IEEE and served on different honorary position. He was member of IEEE R8 Young Professional Committee (2013) which is responsible for technical and professional activities across Europe, Africa and Middle East for young graduates. He was Chair of IEEE Sweden Young Professionals AG during 2011-2013. He is recipient of the 2012 IEEE MGA GOLD Achievement Award.
