Introduction
Rana Asif Rehman (M’17) received the M.Sc. degree in computer science from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, Pakistan, in 2010, the M.S. degree in computer science from International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics and computer engineering from Hongik University, South Korea, in 2016, under the supervision of Prof. Byung-Seo Kim. He is also a Cisco Certified Network Associate as well as a Microsoft Certified Professional. In 2013, he was a Lecturer with the University of Sargodha, Lahore Campus, Pakistan. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science, National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Chiniot-Faisalabad Campus, Pakistan. His research interests include the design and development of energy efficient routing protocols, cross layer architectures, caching and forwarding schemes for cognitive radio ad hoc networks, and named data networking-based wireless networks. He is currently a member of the IEEE, KSII, the IEEE Computer Society, the IEEE Communication Society, the IEEE Signal Processing Society, and the IEEE Young Professionals.
