Introduction

Ms. Aqsa Tahir is a gold medalist of Lahore College for Women University, Lahore. She did her MS in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). She did BS (Hons) in English language and literature from university of Sargodha. She has recently joined FAST NU Chniot-Faislabad campus as an English Lecturer. She has worked as a research fellow under HEC project in Quaid-i-azam University, Islamabad. She has been the part of International Islamic University, Islamabad and University of Sargodha as a visiting Lecturer. She has been the part of a number of regional, national, and international conferences.

Her research includes: a dissertation on “Enhancing English Communication Skills through Task-Based Language Teaching”, a publication on “Teachers and students attitude toward code alteration in Pakistani English classrooms” and research projects on Newspaper Literacy, ESP, Stylistic analysis and Discourse.

Area of interest

Her areas of interest are English for Specific Purposes (ESP), English language teaching (ELT), Computational language learning and Teaching Methodologies of Second language learning.
