Introduction
Mr. Khalid Hussain has completed Ph.D. work and currently working as a lecturer in Department of Computer Science of FAST-NUCES Chiniot Faisalabad Campus. Mr. Hussain earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer System Engineering from Hamdard University, Karachi, Pakistan, in 2014, thanks to a fully funded scholarship from Pakistan’s Ministry of Information Technology. He won first place in Bachelor and was awarded a “Gold Medal,” as well as being ranked “A Shinning Prime Minister’s National ICT Scholar.” Previously, Mr. Hussain joined the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES), Pakistan, after graduation and worked there for four years before earning a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from NUCES in 2018 on a faculty development scholarship. After that, Mr. Hussain won a Ph.D. scholarship from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and began his studies at Universiti Putra Malaysia in January, 2019.
His expertise includes image processing, medical imaging (SPECT) machine learning, and artificial intelligence applications for advancing human health and security.
