Introduction

Dr. Saif Ullah is a distinguished finance professional and academic with over 14 years of expertise in financial analysis, fintech, and program development. Currently an Associate Professor at FAST School of Management, National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, he has played a pivotal role in shaping innovative academic programs.

Dr. Ullah holds a PhD in Finance from Jiangsu University, China, where his research focused on financial well-being among adults. He also earned an MS in Finance from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University and an MBA Finance from The University of Faisalabad. His extensive research in Financial Wellbeing, financial markets, corporate governance, and fintech has been published in high-impact SSCI-indexed journals, including Frontiers in Psychology and the Journal of Islamic Accounting and Business Research.

Renowned for his strategic leadership and curriculum development, Dr. Ullah pioneered Pakistan’s first BS Fintech program at The University of Lahore (UOL). As Finance Cluster Head and Head of the MBA Program at UOL, he also spearheaded the relaunch of the Executive MBA. His expertise in data-driven decision-making is supported by proficiency in Python, SPSS, SMARTPLS, and other analytical tools. Beyond academia, Dr. Ullah actively engages in industry collaborations, research supervision, and professional training, making significant contributions to the finance discipline.

Field of Interest

My primary area of interest is in advancing financial innovation through the integration of emerging technologies, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making. My core focus areas include:

  • Fintech Ecosystems: Leading academic initiatives such as Pakistan’s first BS Fintech program and conducting research on digital finance adoption.
  • Advanced Financial Modeling: Leveraging Python, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel for financial Analysis and market forecasting.
  • Business Analytics: Utilizing tools like SPSS, Power BI and Microsoft Excel to optimize financial decision-making.
  • Sustainable Finance: Investigating ESG impacts, financial well-being, and Islamic finance through interdisciplinary research.
