Introduction
Dr. Hafiz Tayyab Javed is a highly accomplished academic and industry professional with expertise in computer science. He began his academic journey by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from FUUAST Islamabad in 2012. Following this, he pursued a Master’s in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST-NU) in 2015, where his passion for research and technology continued to grow. Dr. Javed then went on to complete his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the same institution in 2024, further cementing his role as a thought leader in the field.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Dr. Javed has amassed valuable industry experience. He served as a BTS Data Analyzer at Alcatel-Lucent Technologies in 2011-2012, where he worked on analyzing and optimizing network data. His professional journey continued at British American Tobacco Islamabad as a Core Network Engineer from 2012 to 2013, where he was responsible for ensuring the stability and efficiency of the company’s core network infrastructure. He also contributed to PlumGrid(Acquired by VMware) as a Design Engineer in 2014-2015, focusing on advanced networking solutions for different cloud vendors. Dr. Javed further strengthened his research skills as a Research Assistant at COMSATS Islamabad in 2014 for six month duration, where he contributed to innovative research projects.
Dr. Javed’s academic career took off in 2016 when he became a Lecturer at FAST-NU, where he taught and mentored students in computer science. His dedication to education led to his promotion to Assistant Professor in 2018, where he continues to inspire and guide the next generation of computer science professionals. Additionally, he has been a visiting lecturer at FUUAST Islamabad, sharing his expertise with a broader academic community.
Dr. Javed’s career reflects a deep commitment to both research and teaching, blending practical industry experience with cutting-edge academic knowledge in several research domains. His work continues to contribute to the advancement of computer science in both the academic and professional worlds.
