Introduction

Dr. Syed Zeeshan brings 17+ years of combined academic and industry experience to the classroom, including over 13 years at FAST-NUCES CFD Campus, where he has served as Head of the FAST School of Management and Head of the Executive Development Center (EDC), leading corporate partnerships and executive training initiatives. He holds a PhD in Marketing completed through a split-program arrangement between the University of Malaya and the National Textile University, along with an MS in Marketing from UET Lahore and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Central Punjab. His academic path is grounded in real-world practice, having earlier worked as a Relationships Manager at Allied Bank and in marketing roles across the technology and textile sectors.

His research area is sustainability and responsible marketing practices with a particular focus on green branding, consumer behavior, and corporate reputation. His work also extends into digital and emerging consumer domains, including social media sentiment analysis, virtual reality shopping experiences, reflecting a research agenda that bridges traditional marketing theory with contemporary, data-driven business challenges. A regular adjudicator at national business competitions, Dr. Zeeshan continues to design executive learning programs that blend academic rigor with corporate realism, preparing students for the demands of real business leadership.

Collaborations at National and International Level

  • International: Collaborating researcher on an internationally funded project with the University of Malaya, examining how sustainability principles can be embedded into the marketing strategies of Pakistani fashion brands. The project develops a practical roadmap for fashion enterprises to align marketing communications with sustainable practices
  • National: Served as lead trainer and focal person from FAST-NUCES in collaboration with Masood Textile Mills (MTM), a leading textile export firm, contributing to the design and delivery of training programs under their Corporate Academy.
