Introduction
Mr. Muhammad Umar Haidary is a Lecturer in Mathematics at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST-NUCES), Chiniot-Faisalabad Campus, where he joined on August 1, 2025. He holds an MSc in Mathematics and an MPhil in Applied Mathematics from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad.
During his MPhil studies, he conducted research in the field of Differential Geometry, with a particular focus on Conformally Flat Manifolds. His work involved solving nonlinear differential equations analytically. His primary research interests include Differential Geometry, Riemannian Geometry, and Differential Equations.
Work Experience
Before joining FAST-NUCES, He served as a Lecturer in Mathematics at Balochistan Residential College (BRC), Uthal, from September 2024 to August 2025. He also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Mathematics, Quaid-e-Azam University, where he taught undergraduate courses including Linear Algebra, Calculus, and Differential Equations.
Motive
He is deeply passionate about both teaching and research in mathematics, guided by the belief that “When one teaches, two learn.”
