Dr. Muhammad Usama is an Associate Professor at FAST-NUCES, Chiniot-Faisalabad Campus, with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. He has completed postdoctoral research at the University of Edinburgh, UK, and LUMS, focusing on adversarial machine learning, urban computing, and data-driven policy analysis. His research contributions include publications in top IEEE journals on topics such as hyperspectral image classification, remote sensing, and machine learning applications in sustainability. He has secured competitive research grants, delivered talks at national forums, and is recognized for advancing machine learning solutions for complex urban and networked systems.

 

One Day Hands-on Workshop on “AI-Powered Programming for QECs and Administrative Professionals ”

Objectives

  1. Introduce AI Tools for automating routine tasks in QEC and administrative workflows.

  2. Equip participants with Prompt Engineering skills to effectively use Large Language Models (LLMs).

  3. Demonstrate the use of dashboards and email automation for efficient communication and follow-ups.

  4. Enable practical use of AI in data processing and reporting to support informed decision-making.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Apply LLMs like ChatGPT to streamline office tasks such as writing, summarizing, and drafting.

  2. Automate reminders and manage schedules using AI-driven email tools and dynamic to-do lists.

  3. Design and use corrective action dashboards for performance monitoring and follow-up tracking.

  4. Use Python and AI tools to clean, analyze, and visualize data for executive-level reporting.
