Leaders’ Conference on AI in Education and Institutional Leadership

The FAST-National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST-NUCES), Chiniot-Faisalabad Campus, successfully hosted the Leaders’ Conference on AI in Education and Institutional Leadership from June 25–26, 2025. The conference aimed to connect academic leadership from regional colleges, particularly Principals and Vice Principals. The two-day event provided a platform for knowledge exchange, academic dialogue, and collaboration to envision the future of education in the era of Artificial Intelligence

Opening with a welcome by Prof. Dr. Shahzad Sarfraz, the conference featured diverse sessions on leveraging AI for personalized learning, automation in university operations, ethical leadership, and institutional sustainability. Speakers, including experts like Dr. Muhammad Usama, Mr. Ehtsham Abbas, and Prof. Dr. Jawwad Shamsi, showcased practical AI applications, while others emphasized leadership, governance, and emotional intelligence in AI-driven educational environments. Key highlights included hands-on demos, interactive activities, strategic frameworks for AI-readiness, and a special address by Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam. The event concluded with a campus tour and a meeting between Rector Prof. Dr. Aftab Maroof and the Chief Guest, reinforcing a shared commitment to advancing quality education through innovation and collaboration.
