Mr. Azhar Masood commenced his professional career in 1999 in the IT Department (Computer
Hardware and Networking) at FAST-ICS (Later on NUCES), Lahore. The completion of his
Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree, he was transferred to the Library
Department, where he subsequently established his professional career in the field of Library and
Information Services.

Currently serving as a Librarian at FAST-NUCES CFD Campus, Mr. Azhar Masood is one of
the institution’s senior and experienced professionals, with extensive experience spanning both IT
and library services. His areas of expertise include library automation, digitalization, and the
effective utilization and management of electronic resources.

He provides comprehensive reference and information services to faculty members and researchers.
He also conducts Information Literacy Sessions and manages Current Awareness Services
(CAS) to facilitate users’ access to relevant and up-to-date scholarly information.
